New manual handling initiatives
The esteemed David Caple AM will join us on 9 September to talk about new initiatives in manual handling that have been assessed and implemented in a range of workplaces, including libraries, childcare and large retail stores. David will provide an overview of the methodology involved, and give examples of the initiatives. Manual handling systems are not 'one size fits all', and David will speak about requirements for different industries and workforces. He will also discuss change management processes that ensure these systems are sustainable. While the presentation is Zoom only this year, there will be an extended opportunity for discussion beyond the formal recorded part of the event.
